Transfer your domain to Hosting Coffe
Check whether it can be transferred and its price. The price includes one additional year of registration.
You will need the authorisation code, or EPP code, from your current provider. We will request it when activating the service.
How to transfer your domain in four steps
A transfer changes who manages your domain, not where your website and email are hosted. If you do not change the name servers, everything keeps working.
- 1
Check that it can be transferred
Enter your domain above. It must be at least 60 days old and unlocked.
- 2
Unlock it and request the code
At your current provider, remove the transfer lock and request the authorisation code.
- 3
Add it to the cart and pay
The price includes one additional registration year, added to the expiry date you already have.
- 4
Send us the code
We request it when activating the service. The transfer takes from a few hours to five to seven days, depending on the extension.
About domain transfers
What do I need to transfer my domain?
The domain must be registered for at least 60 days, unlocked with your current provider, and you need the authorisation code, also called an EPP or auth code.
What does it cost and what is included?
The displayed price includes one additional year of registration. It is added to the current expiry date, so you do not lose time.
Will my site go down during the transfer?
No, as long as you do not change the name servers. Before transferring, make sure your DNS continues pointing to the place where your site is hosted now.
How long does it take?
From a few hours to five to seven days, depending on the extension and how quickly your current provider confirms it.
Why does my domain show as not transferable?
Usually because a transfer lock is active, the domain is less than 60 days old, or it was transferred recently. Ask your provider to unlock it and check again.
