Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 25, 2026
By purchasing a Hosting Coffe service or using this site, you accept these terms. They are written in plain language and are governed by Colombian law, particularly Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute).
1. Who we are
Hosting Coffe sells web infrastructure services: domain registration and transfer, shared hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, business email, SSL certificates, and backups. Hosting Coffe SAS (NIT 901.341.326-7) is the legal entity providing the service. Each service is provided within the scope described on its product page at the time of purchase.
2. How a purchase works
You choose products and terms, add them to the cart, provide your details, and confirm the order. We confirm by email and activate the service; for some products our team will contact you to coordinate activation. Service formally begins when we confirm the order. In many cases activation takes minutes and no more than 24 hours after payment confirmation. We provide support every day, 24 hours a day, through WhatsApp and email.
3. Pricing and payment
Store prices are shown in United States dollars (USD). Amounts shown in Colombian pesos (COP) or euros are informational references calculated using the day’s exchange rate; the final amount is confirmed at payment. Prices may exclude taxes where applicable, as required by Article 23 of Law 1480 of 2011.
The price shown for each plan and selected term is the price presented at checkout. Available payment methods are shown at the end of the purchase process.
4. Recurring services and renewal
Hosting, domains, business email, and other recurring services are billed by term, monthly or annually as selected. Charges renew automatically at the end of each term unless you notify us at least 15 days before renewal that you wish to cancel.
Nonpayment may result in temporary suspension until the account is brought current. Domains are also subject to the expiration, renewal, and restoration rules set by each registry.
5. Domains
When registering a domain, the registrant represents that all submitted details are accurate and agrees to keep them up to date. Domains are also governed by each extension’s registry policies and ICANN policies. Product-specific agreements are listed in the Legal Agreement.
6. Guarantees and refunds
Shared Hosting (Linux and Windows) and SSL Certificates include a 30-day money-back guarantee as indicated on each product page. WordPress Hosting has no refund period. Product conditions appear before purchase; contact us before purchasing if you have questions about a particular service.
7. Right of withdrawal
Because this site supports distance purchases, Article 47 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011 grants a right to withdraw within five business days after purchase. That right does not apply when service performance has already begun with your authorization, as established by the same law. To exercise it, contact us by email or WhatsApp.
8. Acceptable use and suspension
You may not use the services for illegal content, unsolicited email (spam), malware distribution, attacks on third parties, or any activity that puts the infrastructure or other customers at risk. We may suspend a service for misuse, illegal content, or repeated nonpayment, with prior notice except where immediate risk requires action.
You may cancel a service by email or WhatsApp. Services already provided and terms already paid are nonrefundable except as stated in the guarantee and right of withdrawal.
9. Responsibility
We work to keep services continuously available, but cannot guarantee that interruptions will never occur because availability also depends on factors outside our control, including providers, networks, and third-party attacks. You are responsible for content hosted on your services and for maintaining your own backups. On VPS and dedicated servers, server content is always the customer’s responsibility.
10. Personal data
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will first be addressed directly by the parties and, if unresolved, before the competent courts. You may also contact the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
We may update these terms; the current version will always be published on this page. Contact: info@hostingcoffe.com.
